Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps you live a productive, satisfying life while completing normal activities of daily living. We can retrain you in self-care skills such as feeding, dressing, bathing, grooming and home making. We perform an on-site evaluation of your home environment and provide suggestions, changes and adaptations to improve safety and function.

Occupational therapy is available on an inpatient basis at Next Step Rehab or on an outpatient basis as well.

Occupational services available at Felician Village address the following:

• Strokes
• Arthritis
• Fractures
• Nerve injuries/compression
• Joint replacement, including knee replacement recovery and hip surgery recovery
• Neuromuscular disorders such as Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis
• Debility/weakness
• Lymphedema
• Carpal tunnel syndrome
• Rotator cuff injuries
