Felician Village announces winner of 2024 Volunteer of the Year Award

On Wednesday, April 24th, Warren Gaffney was named the 2024 recipient of the Volunteer of Year award at Felician Village. The award was presented at the 2024 Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon.

Nomination: Warren demonstrates exceptional dedication and care as a volunteer, driving both the 12-passenger Felician Village bus and the Felician Village on the Go vehicle with safety as his top priority. His passengers greatly enjoy his company and conversation. Warren also volunteers at many Felician Village events and is willing to assist at moment’s notice. His compassionate approach shines through as he consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of those he serves. His commitment to Felician Village and its individuals is unwavering, and his invaluable contribution of time is truly priceless.

This award recognizes an individual whose volunteer actions have made a significant impact on the residents/operations of Felician Village. The recipient of this award exemplifies the core values of Felician Village by living out the healing ministry of Jesus and providing compassionate care that respects the dignity of each person served.
