Felician Village at Home launches Felician Village on the Go

MANITOWOC, Wis. (November 1, 2021) – Felician Village at Home has launched a new transportation option for their members and Independent Living residents at The Gardens at Felician Village. Felician Village on the Go is being supported through a generous grant provided by Felician Services Inc.
Felician Village on the Go will offer rides to bridge the gap between those members who live independently, yet wish to socialize and go places but who may be limited due to lack of transportation. Megan Bruckschen, Manager of Felician Village at Home says, “Multiple studies have shown there are many negative effects of social isolation on older adults. We are excited to offer Felician Village on the Go as a way for older adults to stay connected to the community.”
Felician Village at Home is a membership program designed to support the health and well-being of older adults living independently throughout Manitowoc County through a variety of services such as home-based volunteer services, educational and social events, referrals to pre-screened service providers, tech tutoring, a telephone reassurance system, local discounts and more.
