Gifting Through QCDs

Geof Liban strongly believes in giving back to the community. Felician Village is one of the charitable recipients of the Liban’s generosity. He said, “I  was a business owner in Manitowoc for more than twenty-five years and it’s important to give back to the community who supported my business, our employees, and all of our families.” Geof made a gift to us through his Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). Geof continued, “Both Carla and I know that Felician Village is a good senior living facility and we enjoy making a gift to them. It’s a small way that we can help many.” And, giving through my QCD is practical if you are considering a charitable contribution this year. Geof said, “Our gift is made through my traditional Individual Retirement Account (IRA).
